In a world where comfort is the goal, the dominant narrative is to accumulate as much you can and relax in the future. Many people spend their lives seeking to secure the future in the present, but when the future becomes a present, they discover that the future was never really theirs .Wealth is good.It brings some form of bodily comfort. However, it does not guarantee lasting inner happiness and peace. We can accumulate so much wealth, but we cannot accumulate so much time .When the time allotted to us on earth is up ,we must leave our wealth and go .TO WHERE ? if I may ask .When we acquire the whole world and loose our soul ,of what benefit would that be ? Let's thank God for the wealth He has given each one of us ,however little it may seem in our eyes .if God chooses to give us more wealth, let's accept it with gratitude, not forgetting that to whom much is is given ,much is expected. May we never throw away our faith and virtues in pursuit of wealth, this would be chasing after the wind .God have mercy.
